Food Gas Applications

In today’s environment, food producers are requiring ways to ensure that their food stays fresh longer on the shelves and longer in transit so they can reach further markets.

One of the most popular methods to achieve this is through Modified Atmosphere Packaging or MAP. Modified Atmosphere Packaging is done by flushing a Gas Pack with Oxygen (O₂), Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) or Nitrogen (N₂).

Designed for taking samples from food packages made from flexible or semi-flexible plastic films, the Map-Pak range of MAP analysers or headspace analysers, meets the needs of this evolving industry.

We offer two variations of MAP analysers to our customers.
The Map-Pak-O₂ measures Oxygen only, and the Map-Pak-CO₂ measures Carbon Dioxide only in the food pack.
